How and what data do we collect?

AURUM collects and processes data:

  1. When you reach us via email or the enquiry form available on the website.

We collect your information when you contact us via email or the enquiry form (“SUBMIT A QUESTION” form), where you may provide AURUM with the following personal data: name, phone number, email address, city, company, and position.

You may also provide us with any other information in attached documents and the blank field of the enquiry form.

When you access and browse our website, we may collect information from you automatically through cookies.

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you visit our website. Cookies allow our website to track visits, activity of the website users and recognise users’ preferences as previously chosen by them when they return to the website.

There are ‘session’ and ‘persistent’ cookies. Session cookies are permanently deleted as soon as you close your browser. Persistent cookies are stored until their expiration date and then removed automatically by your browser or until you delete them manually.

How long and where do we store your data?

We securely store your data on a secured cloud server hosted by Google.

Unless we enter into a contract, AURUM will keep your emails or enquiry for 1 year, after which period it will be deleted.

What are your data protection rights?

AURUM would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights.

You have the following rights:

The right to access — you have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not your personal data being processed, information about the purposes of such processing, the categories of personal data concerned and to request AURUM for copies of your personal data.

The right to rectification — you have the right to request AURUM to correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request us to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — you have the right to request AURUM to erase your personal data, under certain circumstances, such as: personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; you withdraw consent on which the processing is based; there is no other legal ground for the processing.

The right to restrict processing — you have the right to request AURUM to restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing — you have the right to object to AURUM’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions, unless AURUM  demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms (regarding the protection of personal data) or it is needed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

The right to data portability — you have the right to request that AURUM transfers the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

AURUM as a ‘data controller’ shall communicate any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed and shall inform you about those recipients if you make a request.

If you make a data protection rights request, we have one month to respond to you.
